In reply to Editor. How interesting to read about a folly atop a folly. One of my first Folly Fellowship trips was to Faringdon Tower many years ago. I climbed to the top but don’t recall being rewarded with a sticker.

In reply to Iain Gray. Good afternoon Iain. Indeed, there are many more stories about this tower and its creator. On the rear is a plaque saying ‘please do not feed the giraffes’ and to add to the whimsy it is placed at giraffe head height. What fun they must have had.
