I’m currently researching the roughly triangular area (approximately a square mile) centred on the Summerhouse – the book I’m preparing will be independently published to raise funds for the nearby Path Head Water Mill, a registered charity. Please could you tell me where you found the inventory as I simply cannot find it, though I’ve come across several references?

I rthink he was in better shape then, and I have seen a photograph of him posed on the terrace but I cannot remember where. Trenython is now a posh hotel which I know would be right up your strasse!

Also below is a link to the Trivoli Gardens in Lerryn where there is also a tenuous connection fo Gen. Garibaldi – his son visited Penquite for one night..
