In reply to John St Brioc Hooper. Good morning John. Only a flying visit I’m afraid, and not as far south as you or I would have been round for a cup of tea. Bude is well worth a visit and be sure to see the excellent displays in Bude Castle.

So, you have been visiting The Delectable Duchy. I have never seen the Storm Tower but you have inspired me to make a visit before work commences. In reply to John Davies. It was my first visit to Bude this week, and the sun was kind enough to shine! As you say, it’s a lovely place, and the Heritage Centre in the Castke is excellent.

In reply to John Malaiperuman. Hello John. Natural England’s concern was to do with the actual ground on which the tower stands I believe, although as ever the documents were very complicated. Hopefully there will be quick progress to resolve the situation.
