The ruin at Bingley is easily visited on foot along the public footpath that goes through ruin bank wood. There are many access paths well used by the public with no restriction.

[…] It used to be possible to climb right up to the tower, but it is now fenced off for the inevitable health and safety reasons. The wall’s rugged ruined outline has sadly been rebuilt into neat right-angles, but it remains the most perfectly designed and situated of follies, and surely the inspiration for Old John Tower in Bradgate Park, Leicestershire and St David’s Ruin in Yorkshire https://thefollyflaneuse.com/the-ruin-bingley-west-yorkshire/ […]

Ah, the love of the C18 for the iambic pentameter:
The English Garden owes a lot to Rome
Italian sunshine knows no sweeter home
The Grotto shelters from the burning sun
Through northern climes the cooling waters run
The distant prospect shows a rocky crag
In former times they'd simply plant a flag
But now a ruin, sham or counterfeit
Improves the mount, and stands on top of it
The ancient lineage of the worthy lords
Stems more from pattern books than war-like swords
And then a Meulenkamp or Headley comes
Dissects their motives, and declares them bums.
