Hello Peter. That most certainly is of interest. I didn’t know about this resource so I am delighted you have shared it here. I will send you a scan of the article, but please bear with me for a couple of days.

Hello
According to the UK Modern House Index, David Scott eventually returned to East Anglia to work with Norwich-based architectural practice Lambert Scott & Innes (https://ukmoho.co.uk/html/building/13779.html). Knowing how pernickety the people behind the index are about their attributions, I'd say this is reliable info. This would also suggest that he was a member of the architectural dynasty founded by AF Scott (https://architecture.arthistoryresearch.net/architects/scott-augustus-frederic) probably the son of either Eric or Theo - as the family firm, AF Scott & Sons was merged with Lambert & Innes in 1971 to form Lambert Scott & Innes.
Following the same route - the UKMoHo Index- it also seems he designed this fine-looking house in Stroud: https://www.wowhaus.co.uk/2014/08/18/on-the-market-david-scott-designed-modernist-property-in-stroud-gloucestershire/
Anyways, I hope that was of interest. And, if at all possible, I'd love to see a scan of that Gordon Bryan article. Any chance of emailing it to me at peter@halliday.uk.com?

Hello Neil. I have to say that I am torn between wanting to know more and allowing the mystery of this enchanting structure to remain intact. I was pleased to find the article that debunks the ‘one night only’ myth. It is the most amazing building and location, although personally I would like a little more in the way of home comforts. Which only adds to my admiration of David Scott.

I too wish to find out more about him!

Hello Jonathan. Yes I checked Tim’s article during my research and concluded it relied on the usual sources which misrepresent the history. But how interesting that the two architects geographical paths were the opposite of each other, albeit decades apart.
