Loved Fiona’s winged “Mule” albeit NT say its a Sheep, I say with echo’s of Il Lione di San Marco. – But the real treat was the superbly presented ” Tale of Two Sketchbooks” in the basement of the Ionic Temple. Effie’s 18th c impressionist watercolors are a revelation. Well worth a visit.

Visited this exhibition on the first day and absolutely loved it. The sheep really fit the landscape
