Great article thanks. Very informative. Such a pity the park is no longer open. I spotted this tower for the first time today (very recently moved into the neighbourhood), and was looking it up to see if I could visit. Sadly, it appears not.

Newbery’s trade card is not undated! At top right it says ‘August 1 1800’, and at bottom right in tiny figures ‘1799’….
